Dan Brown - Professional Staff

Dan Brown joined J. Rex Lemert in April 2005.  He graduated Amarillo College with an Associate in Applied Science (AAS) in Accounting in 2001. Currently, Dan is attending West Texas A&M University and is in pursuit of a Masters Degree in Professional Accounting.

Dan was awarded the Amarillo College Twyla Cowan Business Scholarship and was the West Texas A&M University Linda G. Miller Leadership recipient.

His main functions are to provide accounting services to oil and gas related clients.  He is proficient with Roughneck Systems and Derek oil and gas software, which provides for joint interest billing and revenue distributions to each well owner.  In addition to his oil and gas duties, Dan provides bookkeeping, accounts payable, and tax preparation services.

Dan is married with two sons, enjoys participating with his son in Boy Scouts, and bowling as well as spending quality time with his family.
