Luke Holder - CPA

Luke Holder graduated Magna Cum Laude from The University of North Texas in 1997 with a Bachelors of Science degree in Accounting. He immediately took a staff accountant position with one of the Nation’s largest accounting and consulting firms, BDO Seidman, LLP and moved to New York City to work in their Madison Avenue office in Mid-town Manhattan. Here he gained experience as a consultant to G.E. Capital and auditor for jeweler Henry Schein, Inc.

Rex Lemert hired Luke in May of 2001 and Luke became a CPA in 2003 under Rex's expert guidance. Luke received public accounting training from the bottom up and gained hands-on knowledge of all aspects of the public accounting world during his early years with Rex. He has proficient knowledge of payroll, bookkeeping, and tax return preparation and has experience with the following fields: large manufacturers, medical practices, trusts, retailers, insurance sales, internet sales, car sales, and oil & gas. In July of 2008, Luke was selected by the Dave Ramsey Show to be the ELP (Endorsed Local Provider) for the Texas Panhandle.

Luke is currently serving as Treasurer on the Executive Board of the Amarillo Museum of Art. He is married with two children. Luke is also a songwriter and regularly performs with his band DONK!
